An asphalt production plant in Vietnam required a high-capacity, reliable, and stable drying system for the treatment of inert materials (aggregates) used in asphalt mixtures.
In asphalt production processes, precise and homogeneous moisture removal is critical to ensure product quality and process continuity. Therefore, the combustion system had to provide continuous, stable, and well-controlled heat output under demanding site conditions.
The main objective was to supply a robust burner solution capable of operating reliably in continuous duty, while maintaining consistent drying performance.
Implemented Solution
For this application, a GB-S 17 G MC gas burner was selected and integrated into the aggregate drying oven.
With a 17 MW thermal output, the burner was specifically configured to ensure efficient and uniform drying of inert materials.
The scope of supply included:
- Combustion system optimized for inert material drying ovens
- 17 MW high thermal capacity ensuring stable heat generation
- Heavy-duty industrial design suitable for continuous operation
- Optimized air and process integration for homogeneous temperature distribution
