Bavaria, one of South America’s leading brewery groups, required a reliable and high-performance steam generation system for its Bogotá facility, located at 2,600 meters above sea level.

The plant needed a combustion system capable of operating on both natural gas and alcohol (ethanol) to ensure operational flexibility and uninterrupted steam supply.

In addition, the brewery aimed to utilize excess alcohol generated during the brewing process as a secondary fuel.

This approach would significantly reduce fuel costs, improve energy efficiency, and contribute to a more sustainable production cycle.

General Bruciatori supplied the GB-ML 1300 GD EM LP A burner, engineered specifically for high-altitude combustion stability.
