ETC6002

Overview


ETC6002 is a dual fuel burner control system designed to manage modulating gas firing and stage-fired oil burners within one controller. It supports efficiency-focused combustion control with optional enhancements such as VFD fan speed control and oxygen trim. The platform is built for integrated plant monitoring with trend logging and industrial communications.

Core functions


  • Controls dual fuel burners with full modulation for gas firing and staged control for oil firing
  • Manages stage-fired oil operation in 2, 3, 4, or 5 stages with a modulating air damper to match combustion air to each stage
  • Executes integrated burner start-up sequencing functions and timings, including ignition control
  • Provides flame supervision using IR, UV, photocell, and ionization flame detection support
  • Controls combustion air and fuel pump drives using dual variable speed drive management to match load demand
  • Supports efficiency tuning and plant integration through oxygen trim capability, trend logging, and Modbus and Profibus communications

  • Oxygen trim option using a dedicated ETC oxygen probe and interface
  • Program up to four fuel-air ratio profile curve sets to suit operating modes and fuels
