Overview
ETC6009 is a burner control system for fully modulating dual gas burners that supports sophisticated blending for mixed gas profiles. Gas blending is controlled by an external signal to optimize fuel usage based on availability, and oxygen trim is included as a standard feature to fine-tune combustion. The controller integrates burner sequencing, safety functions, and industrial communications in a compact package for burner enclosure mounting.
Core functions
- Controls fully modulating dual gas burners operating on mixed gas profiles
- Performs real-time gas blending based on an external input signal to bias fuel usage as availability changes
- Applies oxygen trim by monitoring flue oxygen content and adjusting the air-fuel ratio to maintain optimal combustion conditions
- Executes integrated burner start-up sequencing functions and timings with ignition system integration
- Provides multi-sensor flame monitoring using IR, UV, photocell, and ionization flame detection support
- Integrates dual gas safety functions including fuel safety valve control and leak testing for two gas delivery systems, with selectable industrial communications for system integration
Key technical features
- Designed for fully modulating dual gas burners
- Integrated burner start-up sequence functions and timings
- Ignition system integration
- IR, UV, photocell and ionization flame detection supported
- Control of two variable speed drives for combustion air and fuel pump control
- Fuel safety valve control and leak testing for two gas delivery systems
- Communications protocol options include RS-485, Profibus and Modbus RTU
- Oxygen trim using dedicated ETC oxygen probes and interfaces
- Gas blending ratio controlled by an external 4-20 mA input signal
