Overview

ETC6212 is a daughter board expansion module for the ETC6000 series that adds boiler drum water level control plus boiler water quality monitoring. It integrates level, TDS, and temperature sensing with control, alarms, and outputs for safer and more efficient boiler operation in industrial environments.

Core functions

• Monitors boiler drum water level using dual 4-20 mA level probe inputs
• Supports single-, two-, and three-element feed-water control strategies
• Monitors boiler water quality via Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) sensing and temperature measurement
• Automates blowdown management based on time, measured TDS limits, or maximum time since the previous cycle
• Provides safety alarming via relay outputs for high and low water level conditions
• Interfaces with supervisory systems using an isolated 4-20 mA output for data retransmission

Options and customization

• Select the feed water strategy to match the plant needs: single-, two-, or three-element configuration
• Configure blowdown triggering method: time interval, measured TDS limit, or maximum allowable time since last blowdown
• Select the environmental protection variant according to installation conditions: IP40 or IP54
• Add compatible field instrumentation as required: 4-20 mA level probes, TDS probe, and PT100 temperature sensor
